Queensland Parliament chose HYT TC700
Recently the security department within Queensland Parliament decided to replace their aging hand held radios.

Queensland Parliament was using Motorola GP328 hand held radios incorporating Motorola MDC1200 signaling for ANI (automatic number identification) and emergency call.

One of the criteria for the replacement radios was to be compatible with the Motorola MDC1200 signaling system.

Queensland Parliament ended up choosing the HYT TC700 not only because its HDC1200 signaling was compatible with Motorola's MDC1200 signaling but it also offered additional standard safety features such as mandown with voice message plus the ability for the radio to be programmed to automatically go into a series of receive and transmit cycles after the emergency button has been pressed.
